BKK TRIP PART 3.1
17th of December ( Third Day )
The third day is a very unlucky day but also a very lucky day!
Why ? Continue reading ok! haha
Before the trip, I've marked down a few places in Bkk that I want to go and PRATUNAM MORNING MARKET is on top of the list. This is because it is a crazy shopping heaven place ! Why crazy ? You know, if you really want to shop there, you've to wake up at 4am+ seriously! hahah **The best timing to go Pratunam Morning Market is 5am+ because by 9am, most of the road side shops start to close already. I think 1-2 hours of shopping is not enough right so 5 something go and shop until 8 something is just nice tho** Honestly, I'm very excited going this place. I go on the third day because I know I couldn't wake up on the second day & I want to get more experience first.
Okay so I really wake up very very early and go out at around 5:30am. SO CRAZY. lol Not all of us go, only me, my sis & grandma who go to accompany us. Since only 3 of us, we take a taxi that counts meter and it is so cheap eh! It cost around 50 baht only, maybe because morning not so jam & it is not really far from our hotel. This is my very first time waking up so early just for shopping. omg Actually I've read many blog posts & websites introducing Pratunam Market as a shopping heaven as you can get good quality clothes with a very cheap price there! There are also people who bring empty luggage bag to shop so that don't have to waste plastic bags / don't have to carry, it is a very normal thing there k. hahah **If you planned to shop, (especially female, I guarantee you can get nice clothes with price that amazed you) I really suggest you go bring your own recycle bag or else you'll waste a lot of plastic bags. Save our mother earth ok!**
"Finally I can start to shop shop shop" is what in my mind once I reach there. But it is really crowded. **You've to always get ready to hide inside those shops or move to the side to make way for those carrying lots of stuffs. Actually this happen always at Bkk especially in places that are narrow like markets** If you realize, I actually blog about every single little parts of Pratunam Market. Hmm this is because Pratunam Market is where the unlucky happened! sobs After about10-15 minutes I reached there, I found a shirt that I want to buy so I take out my purse wanted to pay and .. I REALIZE MY PURSE LOST. I really don't know how/when/why it is lost! Seriously, I'm so blank and so so lost by that time ohmygod. It is like, I've not spend any money in it yet and it lost ?! Urgh f.
For your information, the picture above show the sling bag that I use in this trip. I know there are a lot of pick pockets so I purposely carry it infront of me instead of at the side already and I'm holding it with a hand most of the time except when I need both hands to look for clothes. Just, really very unlucky, heart broken into pieces lor sobs. **Beware beware beware of pick pocket! Take good good care of your belongings, don't 24/7 focus on shopping!** Total lost : 4000++ baht (I haven't start shopping yet mygod) & identity card (need to pay RM110 to make a new one) & Hotel Card (need to pay 300 baht cause I lost their room key) & luggage key & my purse (the sister purse! me and my sis buy it together one year ago and I like it very much tho). I'M VERY SAD ABOUT THIS TBH. This is an expensive experience/lesson. **Remember not to put all your money together at the same place; If can, dont bring a bag cause it is so danger oy tsk ; Wear pants with safety pockets (pocket with a zip / 'deep deep pocket' ) ; Beware of people around you** But sometimes, when you're too concern about something, you don't get to enjoy too right so just be careful, relax & enjoy!
RIP TO MY PURSE. (this belongs to my sis, mine b&w one!) |
