BKK TRIP PART 5

  19th of December ( Fifth Day )  

The fifth day at Bkk is a S-A-T-U-R-D-A-Y !
**If you're planning a trip to Bkk, make sure including weekend in it! This is because one of the world largest market - Chatuchak Market at Bkk only opens during weekend!**

CHATUCHAK MARKET is really very very very big! It is like, you can find all kinds of things or foods there. I don't even know where is the main entrance because you can go in from anywhere. lol If you go in by the main entrance, you can get a map (I knew about this by reading blog posts/websites related to Chatuchak Market, I'm not so sure bout it tho) but if you go in from dk where like me, you'll not get any map. I end up open mobile data to download a map from google and look at my phone when I need to see it, so troublesome! **If possible, you should print the map of Chatuchak Market yourself before the trip and put it inside the luggage bag. In this way, you can bring it along when you go the Chatuchak Market. Map is a very useful thing seriously.**

Chatuchak Market also known as JJ Market is a very famous market at Bangkok! If you want to visit all the shops there in one day, it is kinda impossible! Be ready to spend a few hours there, or maybe the whole day lol. Oh btw! What to wear when you go to Chatuchak Market ? **It is better to wear light & comfortable clothing because you will feel very hot (maybe because it is crowded and it don't open early in the morning like Pratunam Morning Market) I personally think female should wear skirt/dress if you decide to buy shorts or pants there cause some shops allow you to try before you buy. But of course, not trying in a fitting room, just try in front of everyone so skirt/dress make it easier! And don't forget to bring a hat and sunglasses to protect yourself against the sun!**

I didn't try the food he sells but he is cute! Posting for everyone to capture!

 **You will see a lot of stalls selling coconut ice-cream at Chatuchak Market! But the most famous coconut ice-cream is the one with a blue flag. Many websites / blog posts called this as the original coconut ice-cream. I personally think it tastes no different with those from other stalls tho, only that there is a flag on the ice-cream haha. You can buy coconut ice-cream to eat from any stall but if you want to eat the 'original' one then you've to find the ice-cream with a blue flag on it oh!**

Before I go to Chatuchak Market, I screenshoted some pictures from this link and it is like a goal to achieve for me. haha I want to eat all the foods that listed in that link but at last I only tried few of it. You know, it is very hard to find a place without a mappp! **So remember to get yourself a map! Oh and, if you don't want to missed any good / famous foods, screenshot it down (including the address) or save the link before you go. The map can really guide you to places you want to go if you know how to use it. It is easy actually! Hmm you will see a big green board writing "SECTION" above some shops (on the roof) on your right & left side when you walk on the road. You won't see it all the time because it is not above all the shops ok, but you'll see it if you notice. In this way, you will know which section you're walking. Then for "SOI", you'll see it on a small board above/below those shops signboards. When you want to find a shop in Chatuchak Market, find the section then find the soi will do!**

**Ohhhh! I recommend everyone to find the shop named "A Laboratory Begins" and try their drinks! It tastes very good, I hope I can have it now! But you really need to understand how to find a shop in Chatuchak Market using the map then only you can find this shop easily cause it is not so easy to find tho. First of all, find Section 4. Then, find Soi 49/2 ok! Good luck haha!**

Nawh this is how the 'SOI Board' looks like!
This board shows that I'm at Section 4 Soi 49 by that time.

When you found Soi 49, you're very near to that place already.
You'll see Soi 49/2 after no longer. Walk straight then you'll see the shop !
