2018 PRECIOUS MOMENTS

Once again, I need to start the post with this 2 words - "TIME FLIES!"
Sometimes, I really have no idea how does time pass so fast.
It's like, is there really 12 months / 52 weeks / 365 days in a year?!
Blogging is really not my thing since I always have problem expressing myself but I wanted to do a post for my Japan Trip so I'm finally here after one year plus not logging in lol 

Before that, I decide to do this post to briefly sum up my 2018 for the future me!

2018, before it even began, I kinda love the year already because of the "8"! (hahah bias)

I guess the only "what's your favourite ..." kind of question that I can answer is when you ask about numbers. Most of the time I don't know what I want but when it comes to favourite number, I LIKE 4 & 8 ! (finally something I can answer without doubt lol)

In this last 16 days of 2018, 

if you need to describe your 2018 using one word, What would it be?

My answer would definitely be

G-R-O-W-T-H .

Not to say I have achieved a lot or achieved anything big this year but really happy with how far I have came, how I go through all the days that I thought I can't, how I always give my best in everything I do, how I work hard and became who am I today. 

So my biggest achievement this year = GROWING UP TO SOMEONE I'M PROUD TO BE.

Still remember one year ago, in the last few days of 2017, 

I told myself that this year I want to be 

STRONGER, BRAVER, KINDER & UNSTOPPABLE. 

Not exactly who I want to be yet, but definitely loving myself more now.

JOIN MBSS @ UM
Comparing to 2017, this year I really involved very less in competition like this.
I guess it's because this year I have more responsibilities (SBIS and CPA) but not more time (still 24 hours a day hahah). Really don't have time for everything so I'm really grateful that at least we joined MBSS in the beginning of the year!

JOIN IUM DISRUPT @ UM

Ok, this is actually a competition for engineering students as we need to develop an app something like that. I really don't know where I find the courage and thick face to join AHAHAH Probably because I have you dear WahJia! (Thank you hehe) 
Supposed to be joining in a team of 4 (KarHoe, Carsen, Me & Wahjia) but left both of us in the end. So really thanks for making this happen together WahJia! *appreciate*

TAKE PART IN VOLUNTEERING WORK : Soup Kitchen

Always wanted to do volunteering work like this, wanted to do more too actually.
Still remember when I'm in high school, Leo club actually did Soup Kitchen too but I missed it that time and it's one of my regret tho. Finally this year I get the chance to be involved! Thanks for making this happen tgt guys!

SHARE "MY STORY" ON SUNWAY PAGE

First of all, Thanks KeeHau for this opportunity! 
It took me quite some time to write things like that out because I really don't like revealing myself so much lol But it's a win-win situation where I get to help him and get this kind of precious opportunity in return so why not hehe.

One of the proudest thing in my life - getting into Sunway with my own effort.
To me, it's not just a university, it's a castle for the young me!

SUPER SPONTANEOUS TRIP TO GENTING

So there is this night where I suddenly go to Genting with ZhuoHang because he suddenly say something like : "Lai let's go Genting". 
Super spontaneous and random but that's what I like the most about this trip hahah!
Actually it's not even a trip, just 5 hours in Genting but a very different 5 hours because who will go Genting when all the shops closed and leave when those shops start opening.

FIRST TIME FLYING ALONE + FIRST TIME GOING SARAWAK

Since the day ShiTing go Sarawak for further studies, we have said about this trip. I'm really happy that we really make it happen! It's my first time flying alone, first time going Sarawak, and so many first timeeee!

FIRST TIME GOING JOHOR

I actually have this goal - to go every states in Malaysia before I graduate!
Not sure if I can make it since I left less than a year being an uni student but really happy that at least I can "ticked" Johor! Really like the bread and banana cake too hahah

FINALLY PUT ON BRACES

I really really really wanted to do this since long long time ago!
I really never thought I'll have this day to make it happen awww thank you so much for supporting my decision grandma! 
I considered it a birthday present for myself so I did it few days before my birthday! Can't wait for the day of me smiling 1000000% confidently hehehe

JOIN CITY HUNTER BY SUNWAY ACS

I guess this is the only competition in Sunway that I joined this year! 
Last year, I joined in a team with PuiMun, WahJia and ChiWei. 
This year, PuiMun and WahJia became part of the committee team dy *proud friend* hahaha so my teammates this year are Didi, ZhuoHang & Keng!

Not the Champion but we won a lot of LEGOLAND TICKETS which then sold to subsidise in one of our birthday gathering! YASSS hahahaha

FINALLY GO TO MY FAV GIRL'S SHOP

Guess who is my fav girl? hahah It's always her --> JANE CHUCK!
Really like how she style herself and how pretty she is! 
As a fangirl like me, how can I not visit her shop. I wanted to go for really long but never make it happen till this year! 
Didn't see Jane there that day but HEAPPY TO AT LEAST BEEN THERE! yays!

FINALLY GO TO BATU CAVES

Before I move to KL for further studies, I told myself that I wanna visit Batu Caves, eat the famous zhuyukfun and try the Boston Lala because I have already heard of these places when I'm at Ipoh! 
Then there is this one day I finallyyyyyyy brought myself to Batu Caves !!
The best thing is, the stairs are super colourful now but I get to go before it became this colourful! YASSS AHHH hahahaha.

FIRST TIME FLYING WITH FRIENDS (TO LANGKAWI)
I went Langkawi for a few times but this is my first time taking plane there! 
Wanted to have a 13/13 kind of trip but it's really hard to have everyone.
At least there are 10 of us who can make it this time! Hopefully next trip 13/13 ok!
So many good moments together, I appreciate everyone here!

FIRST TIME TOURING AROUND KAMPAR + IPOH WITH FRIENDS

It's not my first time going Kampar as I have friends studying there but I never really tour around Kampar till these people make it happen - MY SBIS FAMMM!
Even though I'm from Ipoh but definitely not qualified to be Ipoh tour guide as I didn't go most of the famous places before hahaha ops! This is my first time going the cave too!

Had so many good foods and good moments together in that few days! 
Not to forget, I FOUND MY CURRYCHICKENBREAD friendsssss (who gets excited with the bread like me) in this trip hahaha and we ate it at the waterfall place, WHAT HAHAHA 

Guess this is the only trip I'm not involving in the "Planning" tooooo so really,

FINALLY GO TO BKK AGAIN

I always wanted to go Bangkok again because :
(1) I like to shop there - AFFORDABLE CLOTHES!
(2) I like all the good foooooooods with good price!
(3) I really wanna make a new bkk video lol 

The previous Bkk Video is the very first video that I edited in my life, really think it can be better so wasn't so satisfy with it all this while. 
Besides, I always want to have a "sister trip" with my annoying sis. 
Really happy that we make it happened this year. Hopefully going somewhere far tgt again in the future okay!

BE PART OF THE SBIS TEAM (Senior Executive of Marketing Department)



One of the best things I did in uni would definitely be joining SBIS. 
Not only because of all the experiences and good moments, but the GOOD PEOPLE.
In SBIS, it feels more than a club. This is also the main reason why I decide to take up a position last year and I'm really thankful to have this opportunity to be the Senior Executive of Marketing Department!

To be honest, I hope I made you guys proud for having me just like how proud & happy & thankful of me having you guys! Thanks for all the efforts, all the respect, all the hard work, all the time, and everything you guys contributed to the team! Not sure if you guys realised but one of the small things that make me proud is our fb page - the likes gained from 1584 to 2100 and the followers gained from 1599 to 2133 throughout the year! hehe

Why is it SBIS feels more than a club?
I joined a few clubs in Sunway like SSV, ACS, SBIS .. but only in SBIS, I found this "bond".
It's like Leo Club back in high school where we are not only committees of the club but friends that can count on each other. 


    

All of us here from different courses and intakes, different age, different hometown, different background ... but we are all passionate to SBIS which is what linked us together. Really, THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. I'm really happy and proud with what we have achieved together. 

Not sure when will be the next time for us to gather all 20/20 again since some graduated, some going to intern, some continuing studies ... everyone has own different path and without SBIS, we actually have nothing in similar already but good moments between us will always be remembered!

BE PART OF SUNWAY CPA (Fundraising Director)

CPA = Career Peer Advisor !
Last year, we (me, WahJia & PuiMun) make the effort to join CPA and we passed the interview but due to some reason, PuiMun didn't continue. Tbh I thought of quitting too at the beginning because being part of the SBIS Team, I have a lot to do dy.
Today, I'm glad I always never give up! 
Definitely gained some skills and experiences being part of CPA this year.

FIRST TIME GOING JAPAN

There are so many countries that I want to go, like Korea, HongKong, Melbourne ..
but I didn't really plan or think of myself going Japan. 
It's not that I don't like Japan, but just not desperately wanted to go too. 

This year, thanks to uncle and aunty, I GET TO GO JAPAN AND I REALLY LIKE HOW PRETTY AND PEACEFUL IS IT! I missed a lot of chance to travel as I always pick studies/responsibilities > freedom. This is like the first time I pick what I want instead of what I should so I missed one week class just to make this trip happen but I'm really happy with the decision and so so so grateful with the opportunity!

UPDATE :

FINALLY CUT MY HAIR SHORT & DONATED BLOOD ONCE !

Since the beginning of the year, I told myself that I wanted to cut my hair short but I also told myself that I need to meet some kind of "goal" then only I can cut.

As for blood donation, I wanted to do it since forever but always failed!
After failing for like 5 times, I succeeded on my sixth try!

FINALLY, BEFORE 2018 END, I CAN PROUDLY SAY I DID BOTH !
