BKK TRIP PART 1

After 6 days 5 nights at Bkk, I've few tips about bkk have to be shared so I start blogging again!

  15th of December ( First Day )
I reach Bkk in the morning, at around 9 something so that my first day at bangkok is not wasted. After putting all the luggages in our hotel ( D Varee Xpress Makkasan ), then we go to search for foods because we are really hungry! We end up buying foods from seven eleven (just right beside the hotel) because the seven eleven in bkk is different with the seven eleven here in Malaysia. The Malaysia version is small compare to the Bkk version and the Bkk version sell a lot of tasty foods & drinks that you can't find in Malaysia! In this trip I've go to seven eleven for 152267253 times like seriously because it is so near to our hotel. hahah

Okay, the first place we go is SAMPENG MARKET !
We go there by MRT because this is what the hotel receptionist told us. After leaving D Varee Xpress Makkasan Hotel, have to walk around 5-10 minutes to reach Petchaburi Station, then take the MRT to Hua Lamphong Station.

As you can see, Hua Lamphong is the last station.
Sampeng Market is not located exactly at that area tho, still have to walk a very long distance from the MRT to reach Sampeng Market. Instead of walking, we take "TukTuk"! haha  As it is my first time sitting in a TukTuk, I feel like I'm sitting on a roller coaster ride omg hahaha. But it is fun and cheaper compare to MRT/BTS/Taxi. **Before taking a TukTuk, ask about the price first and try to bargain because some TukTuk driver set a very high price which does not worth at all**

Actually I go to Sampeng Market on the first day because I watched Budget Barbie Ep87 before the trip and I want to buy a hat to avoid sun burning on the following days. Sampeng Market is big but I didn't look over all the shops cause all in my mind was : LOOK FOR HATS. After the trip, i realized this is very wrong. **You should not aim at something ; you've to walk slowly and look over all the shops and also bargain & compare prices between shops before you purchase smtg in bkk! This will help you save a lot of money cause the price can be very different**

Okay, so I didn't walk around the whole Sampeng Market, I only visited small parts of it. But oh! In the middle or somewhere in Sampeng Market, I ate one very delicious noodles! I've no idea what it call but I personally think it taste very good !!

This is the how the delicious noodles looks like!
This is the shop that sell it! It is not a shop actually, beside of the road if I'm not mistaken

"Sampeng Market, I'll come to you again one day!"
After this, we back to hotel by  TukTuk + MRT again cause still newbie mar, have to follow the ways we come to go back again. haha We back to hotel to check in (by the time I reach hotel cannot check in yet) and rest before heading out for dinner! Oh btw, I found a stall outside hotel selling BBQ sotong & hotdog so I bought some to try cause bkk street foods are delicious right. Guess what?! IT IS SO TASTY OMG. hahah It is the first time I try Bkk street food by that time so Idk it is actually expensive (40 baht). This kind of BBQ foods actually cost different prices in different places, the price range is around 5-40 baht, kinda big diff right. **Even though the price can be very diff but you don't have to control yourself so much about spending money on foods cause it is always worth trying out those foods in Bkk!**

This stall outside D Varee Hotel sell really tasty sotong & hotdog!
After spending half a day in Bkk, we are still newbie lor. We've no idea where to have our dinner so we ask the hotel receptionist and she suggest us to go a nearby shopping mall which is TERMINAL 21. Again, we walk to the nearby MRT station (Petchaburi Station) and take MRT to Sukhumvit Station and we reached! Terminal 21 is located at Sukhumvit Station if I'm not mistaken cause once we get out from the MRT, we take the escalator and walk around 3-5 minutes then we reach Terminal 21 already. Terminal 21 is very big and nice, each floor representing different country ! Based on my research before the trip, Terminal 21 is a place that sell kinda expensive stuffs so I didn't plan to go at first. Hmm actually I didn't really walk around the mall also, I only have my dinner there. But eh, I'm so satisfy with the food court foods! haha  **If you've no idea what and where to eat when you're in Terminal 21, I personally think the foods in food court are tasty and cheap, totally worth it!**

Below are some pictures taken in Terminal 21 !

See! The mall is big ! (There is an escalator that connect ground floor wf 3rd floor omg haha)

Nowww, these are the food court foods !

Fyi, all the food court in Bkk use debit card
Pad Thai !! ( Not sure how to spell it haha )
Mango Sticky Rice !
Tom Yum Noodles!
Mango Ice Blend ! (This is the cheapest ice blend i found during this trip )
It taste like Yu Chi but there is no shark fin oy, it is Yu Piu (smtg like this haha)
Bkk have the best siu mai (I personally like it!!)
SiuMai is one of the street foods too actually cause you can buy it on the street easily!
My first coconut ice-cream in Bkk!
But not so "coconut icecream" right cause the ice-cream is strawberry one and it don't taste really good too.
The coconut ice-cream that I like the most was the one from ... (continue in the following posts!)
