BKK TRIP PART 2
16th of December ( Second Day )
Basically, Day 2 is all about window shopping + enjoy the trip !I decide to spend my day at Siam. This is because :
- One friend of mine who is so kind purposely whatsapp me on that morning and suggest me to go Siam Center cause the interior design of the mall is nice & After You & Som Tam Nua !
- Most of the well known shopping malls of Bangkok located at Siam, for example : Siam Paragon, Central World, Siam Center, Siam Square & MBK. (All near to each other, they are like connected tho. Actually not only these 5 shopping malls, still got a lot at that area but I'm not sure what the others mall called)

After you reach Siam Station, take the escalator then you'll see Siam Paragon on your left and Central World on your right something like this, and of course, I turned left ! I thought I'll have time to go Central World after going Siam Paragon at first but I'm so so so wrong. hahha Once turned, the walking never stop, I didn't even turn back to the beginning point or take the BTS Sky Train to go back so no chance to turn right already. "next time, next time!"
Tbh, at first I thought Siam Paragon & Siam Center is the same cause both got the word Siam right. But IT IS NOT, OKAY. lol They are near to each other, like really near, actually connected but totally different mall tsk. At the beginning dk, so i stopped by Siam Paragon Food Court to eat before I move on to Siam Center. I'm kinda regret about this actually.
For me, SIAM PARAGON is like Pavillion or The Gardens Mall at KL cause you can see branded shops everywhere there. And if compare to Terminal 21 Food Court, the food court at Siam Paragon sells really expensive foods (almost double the price) and yet it is not as delicious as the foods at Terminal 21. So I'm not so interested at Siam Paragon already andddd .. I MISSED AFTER YOU. sobs "After You" is a kinda famous dessert shop at Bkk i think cause before the trip I've read many blog posts discussed bout it and my friend also introduced it to me as I mentioned up there. I thought it is at Siam Center lor, now only I know it is at Siam Paragon. Actually I also dk why I'll mess it up omg, my friend actually told me which malls got After You already, I've no idea whyyyyyy. Urgh, SIAM PARAGON OK. For more information, refer to After You !

Okay so I stop by Siam Paragon to eat only then go to SIAM CENTER !
The design of Siam Center is really pretty, not very very pretty but just a shopping mall that looks like this is consider pretty & special dy I guess! haha Again, go to the food court! One of the goal of this trip : go to all the shopping mall food courts in bkk. (No, just kidding! hahahhaah) Oh and, Siam Center got a dessert shop which is kinda famous too actually. It is Mr. Jones Orphanage but I didn't try it also cause I'm really really really full by that time. urgh

| I only manage to try a cup of drinks at Siam Center Food Court, I'm really full burps. Still, Terminal 21 Food Court that Mango Ice Blend cheaper & nicer. haha |
Keep on walking walking walking.. then you'll realize you're near to SIAM DISCOVERY cause it is connected to Siam Center just like how Siam Center connected to Siam Paragon. If you're interested in taking pictures with celebrities (not all, just some of the celebrities) or famous people like U.S. President or even hug Justin Bieber hahha, then you've to go Madame Tussauds at Siam Discovery ! I'm not sure about the price cause by the time I go, there is 20% discount so it cost 680 baht (around RM81) per person. There is no time limit, you can stay inside until workers there chase you out ok hahaha. **If you haven't see any wax figures before, you should really go and have a look & be prepare to spend one to one and a half hours at this wax museum especially when you want to take pictures with all the wax figures!** I personally think really worth it!

After visiting the wax musuem, still got plenty of time before dinner time so we walk on the street, trying to reach Erawan Shrine to visit and pray pray! Not near at all, hahha omg. **But it is not a problem walking from Siam Discovery/Siam Center/Siam Paragon to Erawan Shrine, just be patient & walk & ask for directions from any thai people on the road if you dk where is it** Okay, fyi, ERAWAN SHRINE is the famous 'four face buddha' place which got bombed before. But seriously, that place don't looks like it got bombed before. Still many many people praying there and it is pretty at night, purple lights everywhere. Hmm Erawan Shrine is just a small corner outside a shopping mall that idk what it called already, really should go and pray pray la i think, GO ERAWAN SHRINE OK if you're at Siam area.

| This aunty sell birds outside Erawan Shrine, it cost around RM50, smtg like this. Not a really big amount right when it is an amount of money to buy freedom for those birds & help this aunty here ! So, help the birds, help this aunty. BE GOOD & BE KIND! |
After that we walk on street again to go BIG C SUPERSTORE.
Big C is one of my favorite mall in bkk cause I can get a lot of pocky there with a cheaper price compare to Malaysia! hahahha Some flavor that sells there can't find in Malaysia too, so how can I not love this mall ! **Based on my research before the trip, Big C is one of the biggest supermarket chains in Thailand. So if you want to buy snacks, go to Big C ! In this way, you can get all kinds of snacks that you want in a good price if I'm not mistaken ok haha.** We have our dinner at Big C too, the food court! haha The foods there not bad & not very expensive too, better than Siam Paragon at least but still Terminal 21 Food Court the best! After this, it is time to go back! Instead of walking to BTS or MRT station, we take TukTuk because really enough of walking already! haha It is my one and only chance taking Tuktuk at night oh and my past TukTuk ride is only for short journey, this night ride is the longest journey! **Tuktuk ride : First time = Roller Coaster ride ; The following time : It's fun ! Must take tuktuk to try it! But remember to bargain the price first ah**

I leave hotel in the morning, around 10am+ and go back at around 10pm+, days at bkk are really too good to be true. Today, I missed After You, Mr.Jones Orphanage & SomTamNua ! The friend of mine said must try Som Tam Nua cause it has really good papaya salad and dried chicken but I missed it cause after visiting Madame Tussauds I didn't walk back to Siam Center area already. "nvm next time, I believe I'll go back to bkk very soon!"
